Meet Kerri
I've had an artistic flair since childhood—from coloring books at six to art classes where I learned to paint and mold clay. Over the years, I learned to express creativity through professional presentations, as the designated family photographer, and curated fundraising events. Finally, with a nudge from my better half, I took a break from my day job to build out a portfolio of artwork.
That was the best decision I ever made. Now I paint because I need to. I photograph because the light demands it. Every piece that leaves my hands carries something of me—not in a precious way, but in an honest way. I paint what moves me. I capture what stops me in my tracks.
My art spans both painting and photography. As a painter, I pull ideas from everywhere, and my style has naturally shifted over time—from loose, flowing abstracts to deliberate, geometric compositions. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, whether it springs from my own vision or takes shape through collaboration with a client. My photography lives in a different space entirely: unplanned and instinctive, born from those fleeting moments when the light hits just right!
The work is mine, but it's also for you. I believe original art should be accessible, that you shouldn't have to choose between what you love and what you can afford. Every painting, every photograph is a one-of-a-kind object made by human hands. No shortcuts. Just the real thing.
I want my work to find its way into homes where it belongs, where it makes someone feel something true. And if nothing in my collection speaks to you, let's make something together. That's where the real magic happens.

Artwork
made by you and me
I'm passionate about working together with clients to create art—discussing everything from color choices and compositional flow to proportions and scale. The process of conceptualizing and perfecting the vision is equally rewarding to me as bringing it to life on canvas. Here are five straightforward steps I follow.

Step 1. Contact
You reach out via the "Contact" button, which links to my Etsy page where we can chat.

Step 2. Connect
Connect on a virtual call (via Zoom) to discuss your ideas, timeframe, and budget.

Step 3. Review
Review the mockup and discuss color, structure, and format via Etsy chat or email.

Step 4. Finalize
Finalize the design so I can send you an anticipated timeframe and a personal invoice link.

Step 5. Paint
I get to work once payment is processed, bringing your beautiful original piece to life!

Just a few considerations
Before you work with me on a commissioned piece, just a few things to consider:
My approach centers on the bold and colorful, created primarily with acrylics—portraiture and watercolor aren't areas where I excel.
The colors in your finished piece will have more dimension and vibrancy than what appears on screen. Digital previews can't fully capture paint's true visual richness.
I strongly recommend starting with a video conversation so I can better understand your aesthetic and vision. That said, if you'd prefer communicating through Etsy messages exclusively, I'm completely open to that.
Since commissions are bespoke pieces delivered with a digital mockup beforehand, they're non-returnable except in cases of shipping damage. I'll provide regular progress photos so you can confirm everything aligns with your expectations.
I feature all completed work—including commissions—across my social media and portfolio website. After all, sharing art you love helps inspire others!
